fern weekend
i spent the weekend at faerie camp destiny, a radical faerie sanctuary in vermont, where i'm helping design and build some structures. the ferns are just coming out. tent caterpillars hung in the thousands from the tree canopy by long silky strings. you could hear them eating the forest. it sounded like light rain. every time i looked down there were a few of them on me.
